Dragon Café MISSION: We seek to nourish the minds, bodies and spirits of those who are hungry, homeless and in need.
VISION: Our vision is a New Orleans without hunger, homelessness and hardship.
VALUES: We strive to follow the words of Christ by serving those who are in need. We treat everyone with dignity and respect. We provide our guests with the opportunity to build friendships and become a part of our St. George’s family. We believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We are consistent, reliable and have never missed a Sunday breakfast. We pride ourselves on being a program that is led and funded by volunteers. We aim to collaborate with other organizations in our community who are committed to our vision.
WHAT WE DO: Every Sunday at 8:30am, our dedicated volunteers serve a hot, delicious breakfast to an average of 80 individuals who might otherwise start their day without a filling meal. We offer our guests a place to eat in the company of others and a warm smile to brighten their day.
