Julia’s GiveNOLA Fundraiser

For 130+ years, CBNO has been a cornerstone of care for children and families, offering prevention, advocacy, education, and intervention services that strengthen mental health and wellness across the New Orleans community. During my time working at CBNO, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply trauma, grief, mental health, and adverse childhood experiences intersect, and how much of that impact could be prevented with mental health support. That’s why I love working at Children's Bureau. By providing trauma therapy and support at no cost, we help children and families begin to heal and imagine brighter futures. The need is alarming - more than 1/2 of New Orleans public school students have lost someone close to them to violence, and children here experience PTSD at nearly 4 times the national rate. These realities remind me why this work matters so much. Help me carry the mission of CBNO forward by donating this GiveNOLA Day!
