It has been a little bit more than a year since i started working with Louisiana Bucket Brigade.
I have been working with amazing communities from the river parishes where the petrochemical industry continuous to destroy a peaceful way of life. We organize against the continuous expansion of the polluting industries. We organize against the systematic racism in the decision making of our politicians.
Last summer thanks to your support, i had the privilege to spend time with the NEXTGEN environmental justice summer camp in Donaldsonville. During the science section of the camps, i was able to teach the group about air quality, industrial pollution, mapping and we were able to do some hands on experiments.
This year we are asking for your support to do the same NEXTGEN summer academy in St James parish with our partner Inclusive Louisiana.
