Too many people in New Orleans still can’t reliably access the resource and lifeline of community radio. That’s why we’re launching a campaign to expand our reach by installing two new FM translators, allowing us to broadcast further and stronger across the region.

FM translators are low-power stations that rebroadcast our signal on new frequencies, helping us overcome weak reception, distance, and interference. Translators are essential to improving range, sound quality and ensuring listeners can tune in day or night. With two new transmitters, we can reach thousands more residents who are currently cut off from vital news, organizing, and community voices.

We’re raising funds to purchase and install this equipment, covering transmitters, antennas, and setup costs. This expansion will allow us to connect with underserved neighborhoods, strengthen grassroots organizing, and ensure more people have access to independent, community-driven media.

Your support helps us break through barriers and give aces to home grown content of community radio. Together, we can amplify voices by making sure our signal reaches every corner of New Orleans.
