It's asking for a story:
Once upon a time, a girl from Oklahoma with a heart for service moved to New Orleans for 1 year. Then she fell in love with the people here. And found a griddle and her love of making pancakes. Also, her friends had started a Cafe focused on dignified dining and creating community and she began volunteering. Then she met a local guy from Hammond who also enjoyed being the drinks and coffee guy at the Cafe. They married and had 2 beautiful and very energetic girls!
At the same time, she was helping the Cafe move from being open twice a month replicating a cafe in a fellowship hall to opening a pay-what-you-can restaurant in a real restaurant space! All the while focusing on creating dignified dining and making a difference in the lives of Cafe guests and volunteers.
