Crescent City Cafe

The Crescent City Cafe brings people around the table, feeding a sense of belonging and community! At our Saturday Cafes at Rayne, we address the needs of our community members experiencing food-insecurity by offering a free, volunteer-led, full-service breakfast. We are also expanding our services by launching New Orleans' first Pay-What-You-Can Community Cafe, a restaurant where the whole New Orleans community is welcome to dine with us! With your donation, you help bring people around our tables.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers and donors, since its founding in 2009, the Crescent City Cafe has been a place of compassion and hope, where guests are served delicious meals with dignity, barriers are broken, and neighbors experience the joy of serving together. The Cafe has served over 25,000 meals and logged over 50,000 volunteer hours. And we're so excited to soon be opening a Pay-What-You-Can restaurant, where every guest is seated at a table and served a complete meal in a welcoming, dignified environment. Neighbors, tourists, and community members of all means dine side by side. Those who can pay full price support those who cannot. This model is working in cities across the country, and it belongs here in New Orleans.
