Lindsey's $2400 scholarship fundraiser

In my job as Director of Programming at Generation Hope - New Orleans, I get to work closely with student parents who are raising their children as they pursue their degrees. 

The three types of support we offer  - material, social emotional and educational - are vital to ensuring our young people get through college while taking care of their children. 

Funds raised through our GiveNOLA Day campaign will ensure we are able to continue to offer not only our core programming supports - scholarships, mentorship, coaching, emergency funding, ongoing trainings and community building - but also the newly developed lagniappe (extra) supports we have developed this year: financial literacy & wellness programming AND a dedicated study and play space dubbed the Hope Hub, where Scholars can complete schoolwork while their children play.
