Trans Queer Youth New Orleans (TQY NOLA) is a youth-led space dedicated to providing safe, affirming community for LGBTQIA+ and questioning young people ages 12–24. Founded in 2017, the group creates opportunities for youth to connect, build leadership skills, and express themselves freely in an increasingly hostile climate.

Through regular gatherings, workshops, and community activities, TQY NOLA offers not just connection and joy, but critical support for young people facing challenges such as housing instability, food insecurity, and isolation. All programming is free and designed to remove barriers to participation, including providing meals, transportation, and accessible meeting spaces.

This campaign supports the continuation and expansion of youth-led programming, ensuring that LGBTQIA+ youth in New Orleans have a consistent, supportive space where they can build community, access resources, and thrive.
