Celebrating 40 Years of YLC

For 40 years, YLC has been at the heart of developing young leaders across New Orleans. Being a part of this legacy for the past 4 years as a general board member, Treasurer, and now President-Elect has allowed me to grow in confidence, communication, and my ability to lead with purpose. It has challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, think critically, and take initiative in meaningful ways. Being part of this community continues to shape me into a more effective, compassionate, and impactful leader.

Today, we continue that legacy by empowering the next generation with mentorship, leadership training, and hands-on opportunities to make a real impact. From Leadership Development Series to Wednesdays at the Square, we equip young people with the confidence, knowledge, and support they need to succeed and lead.

As we celebrate four decades of impact, we also look ahead to the countless young leaders still waiting for their opportunity to rise. Your donation helps us expand our programs, reach more individuals, and continue building a stronger, more connected New Orleans.
