Imagine a world where adults are emotionally regulated, self-aware, can maintain healthy relationships, and communicate effectively. Imagine if adults were taught these skills and learned how to use them effectively as children. This would lead to their ability to teach those skills to the next generation and support their needs.
This type of world can become a reality for the children we serve at Children's Bureau of New Orleans. With our assistance, children are supported through their grief and trauma and are taught skills their future selves will be proud of.
The Children’s Bureau of New Orleans promotes growth and resilience through prevention, advocacy, education and intervention. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families in greater New Orleans through valid and proven programs that enhance and strengthen mental health and wellness.
