Propeller: Where Entrepreneurs Come to Grow

Propeller has an ambitious vision: an inclusive and thriving small business-driven community that responds to our city’s needs and creates the conditions for an equitable future for us all. 

Since 2011, we have been working to support the brave and innovative entrepreneurs tackling social and environmental disparities that affect New Orleanians’ quality of life. 

To make this vision a reality, Propeller shares the knowledge and tools entrepreneurs need to access the capital, contracts, and connections, key levers of change to grow their businesses. 

Over the last 15 years, Propeller has served over 2,000 local entrepreneurs in total across our programming (300+ in our cornerstone Impact Accelerator). 

• Impact Accelerator graduates have maintained a 90% survival rate—well above the national average of 56%. 

• Graduates have reported generating $352MM+ in revenue, $34.5MM+ in financing, and supporting over 4K jobs, making a measurable social impact in New Orleans.
