Luke's House Clinic
About this Organization
Luke's House has been a trusted healthcare resource for nearly two decades, providing free, bilingual medical care to those who need it most-no insurance or ID required.
We offer wellness exams, immunizations, and physicals for children and adults. Our Women's Health program provides gynecological care and cancer screenings, while our Vision Clinic offers free eye exams, prescription glasses, and treatment referrals for serious conditions like glaucoma and cataracts. We also provide free counseling in English and Spanish for those facing stress, anxiety, or trauma. Our Health Education program helps patients manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, offering at-home health monitoring and support. We work closely with local hospitals to help patients access specialty and long-term care.
As a teaching clinic, Luke's House trains over 100 medical students each year, preparing future doctors to serve diverse communities with cultural and linguistic competence.
Luke's House is here to break down barriers and fill gaps in the healthcare system. This GiveNOLA Day help us build a healthier, more equitable New Orleans for everyone.
