Optional GiveNOLA Day Workshops

It’s Your First GiveNOLA Day

This optional workshop is designed for organizations and staff that are new to GiveNOLA Day. The information and tools provided in the workshop will help your organization plan and execute an online crowdfunding campaign for GiveNOLA Day. Participants will learn how to segment their database, organize volunteers to support your fundraising, and best practices on using email and social media to make the ask.  Additionally, we will double down on how to utilize optional tools offered, including scheduled gifts and campaigns. The workshop is intended for staff or the volunteer responsible leading GiveNOLA Day for their organization.

After GiveNOLA Day: Retaining and Upgrading Your Donors

It’s always amazing to watch the donations roll in on GiveNOLA Day, but how do you keep those donors engaged and giving moving forward? Join Nora Ellertsen of the Funding Seed to learn best practices in transforming your first-time givers to forever friends of your nonprofit! Nora will share tools and tips that you can apply immediately to your GiveNOLA Day fundraising efforts.
