Wee Can Know

We exist to provide Christian education for children in preschool, kindergarten, and elementary schools in the community. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverb 22:6

We do this through Bible Clubs in After-School Programs, Child Development Centers, and Community Centers.

We serve the children of Greater New Orleans and train parents, teachers, and workers not only in GNO, but also the North Gulf Coast and places around the world.

A parent, C.R., recently shared how WCK's "New Believer's Guide" helped her find the peace with God she needed in her life. She is now attending church and making wiser decisions.

A youth, N.R., served nine months in St Bernard jail for stealing. During this time, WCK provided visits and correspondence giving him spiritual counsel. After his recent release, he expressed his appreciation, shared bible verses that helped him, and spoke with optimism about his future. Now his mother, brother, nephew, and brother's girlfriend are attending Celebration Church in Arabi.

A teacher, V.B., saw a need with the many children in her neighborhood. The children needed guidance and she was concerned for their future. As a result of our volunteer training, she now opens her home to a weekly Good News Club and sees a transformation in the children's lives. She also has many opportunities to provide spiritual guidance for the parents.
