I'm especially proud of the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center’s Coastal Classroom, Swamp Camp, and Rougarou Fest initiatives, which bring the region’s environment and culture to life for people of all ages. I believe these programs play a critical role in educating youth, fostering environmental stewardship, and celebrating the unique heritage of South Louisiana. Through these efforts, I see a lasting impact on the community—building awareness, pride, and a shared commitment to preserving the wetlands for future generations.
