The Solomon Center is at a pivotal moment. After decades of faithful use, critical infrastructure now requires urgent attention. Aging systems, weather-related damage, deferred maintenance, and increased year-round use have created a moment that calls for decisive, faithful stewardship.
We have already committed significant resources — including $500,000 from a leadership gift, $386,000 from an insurance claim, and nearly $450,000 from our own reserve funds. But there is a remaining need of $1.05–$1.25 million to address:
- Emergency infrastructure repairs (sewage and water filtration)
- Roofing for the Lodge, Chapel, and Quad
- HVAC and plumbing systems in the Lodge, Chapel, and Dining Hall
- Safety, security, and ADA accessibility improvements
- Hospitality and guest experience upgrades
- Expansion of Virginia's Place, our youth ministry bunkhouse
Your GiveNOLA gift — at any level — directly supports the stability and future of this irreplaceable ministry. Every dollar raised through GiveNOLA Day goes to our Campus Care Fund, addressing both urgent repairs and longer-term improvements that keep the Solomon Center safe, welcoming, and worthy of the mission it serves.
A Place That Belongs to All of Us
The Solomon Center doesn't belong to any single congregation or community — it belongs to the region. If you've ever attended a retreat here, sent a child to a program here, or simply believe that our corner of Louisiana deserves a place where people can gather and be restored, we invite you to give today.
"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" — Psalm 11:3
Together, we can make sure the answer is: build them back up.
