Pushing Pressure Fundraiser

Guns Down Gloves Up was founded in 2023 to support youth development and provide lifechanging opportunities for those who lack support and guidance. We offer boxing training, health education, mentorship, job preparation (resume writing, mock interviews, dressing for success), trade school or college readiness and social skills. Membership for teenagers and young adults are free of charge and covered by the gym. We purchase headgear, mouth pieces, shoes, gloves, hand wraps, competition uniforms and gym wear to those who participate. On weekends, we travel to USA amateur boxing events to support and participants who choose an amateur boxing career. For these events, we provide transportation, lodging and food. 

Our gym is currently leasing a space to hold training, sessions and provide our services. We have trainers on payroll as well as staff to help our program be the success that it is. Our overhead is about $55k-$65k for the year and your donations would greatly help our cause to keep teens and young adults off of the streets and into something positive and rewarding.
