Our Gulf. Our Fight. Their Survival.
The Gulf of Mexico is the lifeblood of our region—powering our economies, shaping our cultures, and sustaining the communities of the Gulf South. It’s home to people who have cared for the land that is disappearing and a place rich with natural resources.
But right now, all of this is at risk.
New hard fought for environmental protections are being scaled back and removed. Federal funding for communities at risk from polluting industries, aging and failing man made infrastructure puts us even more at risk from storms.
Healthy Gulf, alongside Partners in New Orleans are working to protect our communities from high bills, failing infrastructure, protecting our water ways and building community power to adapt to a changing climate while addressing disparities.
