The Young Leadership Council (YLC) has played a pivotal role in my young professional life. YLC is a non-profit local to New Orleans, but the first of its kind nationwide. Forty years ago, a group of young professionals came together to create YLC to provide leadership development opportunities through community projects. Countless leaders from all industries and backgrounds have worked together over the past 40 years to give back to this City. YLC continues to do this work, both to give back to the City we love but also to provide leadership development opportunities to young professionals and retain New Orleans's future leaders.
