Streetcar Collective for the Arts
About this Organization
Streetcar Collective for the Arts' 2025-2026 Season features three plays written by New Orleanian playwrights, performed by New Orleanian actors, and staged by New Orleanians theatermakers. We're dedicated to paying our performers and technicians fairly -- because the New Orleans theater community should be a place where artists can earn the compensation they deserve. We're dedicated to bringing unusual and thrilling productions to New Orleans stages -- because New Orleans should be a place where performance art is accessible to everyone.
As we head into our second season, we're excited about reimagining the ancient Greek tragedy "Medea" in New Orleans. We're excited about the world debut of "Stanley and Demon." We can't wait to continue making theater in the Crescent City -- and we hope you're looking forward to it, too!
