Because of our legacy of serving the New Orleans community and region, we understand the devastating impact that serious illness, the high cost of medication, and barriers to treatment can have on patients and their families. Every day, the Spirit of Charity Foundation works to confront these challenges through compassionate, patient-centered programs:
Medication Bridge Program - Helping hundreds of patients each year access critical medications, medical equipment, and transportation to life-saving care.
Medical Research Advancement - Funding vital research in areas like PTSD, tuberculosis, and health literacy that leads to better treatments and improved health outcomes.
Expanded Access to Care - Supporting thousands of individuals facing cancer, burns, HIV, and other serious conditions by removing financial and logistical barriers to care.
