The Seymore D’Fair Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and empowering children and youth across Louisiana. Our mission is rooted in prevention, education, and community collaboration—bringing together schools, families, businesses, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and local organizations to equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to resist substance abuse and make healthy life choices.
At the heart of our work is Seymore Salutes: Kiki’s Red Ribbon School Celebration, a comprehensive drug prevention program designed for elementary and middle school students (K–6). Developed by certified educators, the program includes structured lesson plans, engaging classroom activities, and turnkey resources provided at no cost to participating schools.
After years of successful implementation and measurable impact across parishes such as St. Tammany and Lafayette, the Kiki’s Red Ribbon School Curriculum was officially reviewed and approved by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) in 2024, reinforcing its alignment with state education standards and its effectiveness as a prevention tool.
Today, we are expanding our reach across 13 parishes, serving over 118,000 students with critical drug education and prevention resources. Through strong partnerships—including collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and participation in Red Ribbon Week—we continue to build a unified movement toward a safer, drug-free Louisiana.
We also lead the statewide campaign “Louisiana is Better with ME 100% Drug-Free!”, empowering communities through awareness initiatives such as specialty license plates that fund prevention programs for schools.
