About this Organization
we believe New Orleans is best done as a team sport - and we are working to build community through Beanlandia.
Our space is a unique spot - part community-center, part krewe-den, and part bean museum.
By creating a museum, we can generate revenue. We will then put this revenue into community programming focusing on climate, children's programs (to reduce violence), and building social cohesion.
Beanlandia just opened recently, but it's still in "start up mode" and your give nola day donations will make a big difference for us. We are hoping to grow staffing and programming.
In 2024 we created over $50,000 in gigs for musicians - we helped host community meetings, after-school programming, and community events like Mural Festival, La Louisiane, and more.
We also had our annual Bean parades on Lundi Gras :)
