Raintree's mission is to provide needed services to at-risk children and youth, encouraging hope and creating opportunities for growth and independent lives. 

As Raintree marks its centennial year, it celebrates 

100 years of commitment to strengthening young lives and families.

Founded in 1926, Raintree has long been dedicated to caring for vulnerable infants, children, and youth. What began as an organization focused on adoption services has evolved into a comprehensive support system for foster children and youth, helping them achieve permanency through family reunification, adoption, or successful transition into independent adulthood. Raintree also provides mentoring and case management for young adults ages 18 to 21 as they navigate life after foster care. Over the past century, the organization has impacted thousands of lives, many of whom return to share how Raintree’s support shaped their growth and healing. Raintree’s work has earned consistent recognition for excellence, including national accreditation from the Council on Accreditation since 2006.

Today, Raintree operates three key programs. Family Support Coordination offers case management for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Raintree House provides a safe, supportive group home for teenage girls who have experienced abuse or neglect. Therapeutic Foster Care recruits and supports foster homes within the community, ensuring children have stable, nurturing environments in which to thrive.
