Ogden Museum of Southern Art

About this Organization

Ogden Museum opened to the public in the newly completed Goldring Hall in 2003, with a founding donation of over 600 works by Roger Houston Ogden. Since then, the Museum has continued to collect - expanding to over 4,000 works of art that empower the Museum to look toward the future, purposefully engaging with contemporary artists and historical art forms, to understand the identity of the south and its ability to impact and improve our human experience. For over 20 years, Ogden Museum has offered a wide range of artist-driven programming and compelling exhibitions that include meaningful engagement for audiences of all ages and encourages viewers to connect with the art and culture of the American South.

By supporting Ogden Museum on GiveNOLA Day, you help to ensure that we can continue expanding access to the arts and providing opportunities for connection and dialog. Our work and impact is only possible with your help, and we are immensely grateful for your ongoing commitment to our educational mission. Large or small, every donation is significant and truly makes a difference. Thank you for your generosity and please visit to "See the South" soon at the O!
