Founded in 2011, the New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy (NOMMA) empowers a diverse student body of over 1,000 with a rigorous curriculum that bridges academic excellence and career readiness. With a 94% graduation rate, our students consistently outperform state and city averages on AP, ACT, and LEAP tests, demonstrating remarkable resilience and capability. NOMMA, a celebrated "Naval Honor School," integrates leadership and character education through its distinguished MCJROTC program, fostering community service, citizenship, and personal development. Our cadets benefit from targeted career pathways in Maritime, Arts, Business Management, and IT, equipped with industry certifications that pave the way for high-wage jobs or further education in STEM fields.
