The New Orleans Chamber Orchestra is committed to enriching our musical community by presenting concerts of the highest quality featuring the areas finest musicians in works of local interest, including those of New Orleans composers. Founded by Phillip Larroque and Maxim Samarov the New Orleans Chamber Orchestra debuted in the summer of 2016. The fully professional ensemble presents a summer season of concerts and an annual composition competition as well as outreach concerts. These continue our commitment to supporting local composers and premiering new works as well as presenting rarely heard music connected to our region.
