The National Council of Jewish Women is a volunteer organization that has been at the forefront of social change for over a century. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW courageously takes a progressive stance on issues such as child welfare, women's rights, and reproductive freedom.

In 2022, National Council of Jewish Women celebrated a major milestone - - more than a dozen decades of dedicated service to the Greater New Orleans Area. Established in New Orleans in 1897, NCJW has been at the forefront of helping to provide outstanding local community services over a span of more than 125 years. Our legacy of service continues today.
