$280,000 Goal

The Louise S. McGehee School provides each girl with the foundation to realize her individual potential through a rigorous academic education guided by honor, service, and leadership. In this dynamic, inclusive community, students develop lifelong learning skills through critical and ethical thinking.

At McGehee, academic rigor meets the arts. Our girls learn to think creatively and critically. They are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and grow. Here, girls are taught how to think, not what to think, and discover a lifelong love of learning.

It is more than an education; it’s an experience. Meet McGehee.

What Our Community Says

"McGehee meets you where you are. Then quietly and persistently, makes you more than you thought you'd be." - Sally Jane Stern '16

"McGehee gave me the foundation to know that women can achieve anything" - Ann Richardson Berkey '66

"Every week, you can see our daughter becoming someone who is confident, hard working, and curious, and that's all because of McGehee." - Caitlin and Hyder Brewster

Mission

The Louise S. McGehee School challenges each girl to discover her strengths and reach her full potential, as an independent learner, a critical thinker, and a confident leader.
