lowernine.org is a long-term disaster recovery that has been rebuilding Lower 9th Ward homes since Katrina. During COVID-19, the organization added a food security program. To date, lowernine.org has fully rebuild 97 homes, and has done repair work on over three hundred more properties, bringing more families home to the community than any other organization.
