KID smART

Each year, KID smART provides free, joyful art-making experiences to over 2,000 community members through signature events and partnerships across New Orleans.

This GiveNOLA Day, celebrate with us at BEST FEST, happening May 5 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the KID smART Center for Arts & Education. Expect hands-on experiences led by our talented teaching artists and a stunning exhibition of work created by our young people, throughout the school year.

BEST FEST is just one of the ways KID smART shows up for our community. Through BEST FEST, ART JAM, and other free art activities at more than a dozen local events each year, including Po-Boy Festival, HomeFest, and the New Orleans Book Festival, we create space for families to connect, create, and imagine together.

This year, the majority of our government grant funding has been eliminated, threatening our ability to sustain these free community events. We're raising $10,000 on GiveNOLA Day to keep the arts accessible for every family.
