About this Organization
The Idea Village supports Louisiana's entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering high-growth startups and positioning New Orleans as a hub for innovation in the Gulf South.
Through our Inspire. Start. Scale. strategy, we support founders from early ideation to raising $1M+ in venture capital. Our core accelerators-IDEAinstitute and VILLAGEx-provide a pipeline for entrepreneurial success, with IDEAinstitute serving early-stage founders and VILLAGEx helping scale high-growth startups.
We also offer catalyst programs, including IDEAfuel, which is specially designed to close the capital gap for BIPOC entrepreneurs, and METRONOME, an accelerator for the music industry/tech start.
To date, we've supported 20,000+ entrepreneurs, generating $1.7B+ in economic impact. Banner alumni exit include Lucid, Levelset, and TurboSquid.
We also co-produce New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) with Loyola University and launched the 3rd Coast Venture Summit to connect startups with national investors.
