Hail Mary Rescue assists nearly 200 animals annually in local shelters. This is done with committed fosters, volunteers, community support and partnerships with municipal shelters and other rescues. Hail Mary offers financial assistance to injured or ill animals in shelters. Diagnostics, surgery, and treatments not covered by parish budgets are funded by Hail Mary and our generous donors. Promises Made is a sanctuary program developed for animals needing hospice care due to medical conditions, age, or temperament (conditions which render the dogs unadoptable). Hail Mary fosters provide "fospice" care until the end.

Food bank donations are made to assist people and pets in need. We also assist with affordable spay/neuter clinics in several area parishes. Our goal is to keep as many animals as possible with the families who love them and out of our area animal shelters.
Hail Mary Rescue has developed amazing partnerships with Northeastern rescues to help save more lives from the South. Too many unwanted pets are available here and adoptable pets are in demand in other areas of the United States. Hail Mary Rescue helps facilitate transports and all of the prerequisites invol
