Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestras

The Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestras (GNOYO) has been recognized both locally and nationally for its commitment to music education. Featuring five orchestras based in New Orleans and on the North Shore, GNOYO provides young musicians the opportunity to participate in a high-quality full orchestra program. Participants significantly improve individual performance and ensemble skills while while developing professionalism and discipline. This empowers them to take initiative in their schools and community and to pursue individual and team excellence in all life endeavors. 

Funds raised through Give NOLA Day will help facilitate GNOYO's 2026 Fall Retreat, an exciting event designed to strengthen personal relationships between GNOYO conductors and fellow orchestra members. The retreat traditionally takes place at the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, LA. The retreat is a fun filled weekend of ice breakers, team building, and musical adventures.
