Who We Are

For more than 80 years, Global New Orleans has been at the heart of community diplomacy in our region, creating opportunities for shared learning, global partnerships, and connection. In collaboration with our community partners, we design experiences that are personal, grounded, and impactful. Our work includes exchange programs, professional fellowships, youth leadership initiatives, and curated travel experiences. Each program focuses on learning, collaboration, and relationships that continue beyond a single visit.

Building the Next Generation of Student Leaders

In 2025, we launched the first Global Leadership Academy, bringing together high school students from across New Orleans for a day of global dialogue, hands-on learning, and connection with international visitors. Students showed up ready. They asked thoughtful questions, engaged across differences, and began to see themselves as part of a larger global community.

We’re now building the next cohort.

What Your Gift Supports

This year, our GiveNOLA Day campaign is focused on expanding the Global Leadership Academy. A gift of any amount ensures that cost is not a barrier, and $250 supports one student for a full session (program materials, facilitation, meals and access to international and local experts).
