For over 40 years, FQFI has uplifted New Orleans musicians, united communities, and fueled economic growth. Our events provide opportunities for local artists and leave a lasting impact:

• Empowering Artists - FQFI offers fair, reliable employment for artists and culture-bearers. In 2025, we presented over 370 free performances to the community, employing about 1,900 local musicians and culture-bearers. Every show preserves our musical heritage and sustains its future.
• Creating Accessible Experiences - We ensure our events remain free and welcoming to all. Accessible arts programming strengthens communities and enhances lives.
• Driving Economic Growth  - Our work generated over $350 million in visitor spending in 2025, supporting local businesses and fueling growth citywide.
