In Louisiana, there are 4,200 children in foster care, but only 1,900 certified foster families to care for them. Crossroads works to close that gap by recruiting more foster families for Louisiana's most vulnerable children! Crossroads supports parents on their fostering journey using TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention®) trauma-wise training so they are equipped to meet the complex needs of children who have experienced trauma, specifically through abuse, neglect, or early childhood trauma. We work to meaningfully elevate the systems and services caring for children and families. Our vision is a safe, connected family for every child!

On average, 94% of children placed within Crossroads' families experience placement stability compared to only 66% of children statewide who experience placement stability (i.e. not "bouncing from home to home").
