Cervantes Fundacion Hispanoamericana de Arte

Cervantes Fundación Hispanoamericana de Arte was created in 1982 by the late Dr. Guillermo De Bango, as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, with the mission to promote modern and classical Hispanic arts and cultural traditions. These arts and traditions include music, dance, literature, fine arts, and culinary arts, among others. Cervantes has had a major impact in the Hispanic community and beyond because of its unique events.

Today, Cervantes' established events are the New Orleans International Guitar Festival, Que Pasa Fest and Christmas of Hope. Fundraising and social events also occur during the year all emphasizing the Hispanic contributions to the culture of Louisiana and the United States.
