BODYART is entering its third year of the International Dance Festival New Orleans -- an annual, four-day event of performances, masterclasses, and dance film presentations for the community that provides local and international dance artists with paid performing / teaching opportunities at partner venues across the city. The inaugural 2023 Festival welcomed New Orleans dance artists and the Chilean organization Cooperativa Corredor de Danza Valparaíso. Over 350 attendees joined us for two nights of mix-billed performances, and class-goers participated in two days of multi-genre classes (contemporary, waacking, African, burlesque, etc.). Last year (2024), we officially introduced a dance film showing at Broad Theater.

This year, we are so excited to again invite local and international artists to the stage, screen, and studio, September 4-7. The Festival is a celebration of contemporary dance in New Orleans, and we hope that you will celebrate with us!
