For over forty years, the American Italian Renaissance Foundation has documented the history of Italian Americans in New Orleans and provided community outreach in four primary endeavors: the American Italian Cultural Center (AICC) in downtown New Orleans, the American Italian Museum housed in the AICC, the Italian American Digest distributed to a readership of 20,000, and the American Italian Research Library, currently located in the Special Collections at the Jefferson Public Library in Metairie.
