Algiers Youth Sports Academy is a non-profit organization operated by Citizens of Algiers and partnering with the Algiers Charter Schools

The Academy is building a state-of-the-art athletic facility featuring multiple turf baseball fields, dedicated soccer and flag football fields, batting cages, practice fields, a tutoring space, and a modern concession stand in the heart of Algiers. This 6.5-acre Sports Complex at 2345 Cypress Acres Drive, off General DeGaulle and West Bend Parkway, will provide a safe and inclusive environment for low-income children, ages 5-13, to engage in sports-based youth development, improve their physical health, and develop skills in teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution. The Academy will also use the Sports Complex to offer elementary and middle school youth academic tutoring, homework assistance, mentoring, nutrition education, and social and emotional health supports. The Academy is committed to providing the opportunities our young people deserve to reach their full potential and build a brighter future for the entire Algiers community.
