Andre Cailloux Center for Performing Arts & Cultural Justice

About this Organization

The André Cailloux Center for Performing Arts & Cultural Justice (ACC) is a multidisciplinary arts and cultural hub in New Orleans, dedicated to uplifting Black artists and fostering justice through the arts. Named after Civil War hero André Cailloux, the center hosts performances, workshops, and community events that amplify Black voices.

ACC presents major cultural events, including the WE WILL DREAM: New Works Festival, showcasing new plays by Black playwrights, and the Cosmic Slop Music Festival, celebrating Black rock and alternative music. The 2025 season, "The Water Remembers," explores the cultural significance of water in Black narratives.

More than a venue, ACC is a movement-empowering Black makers, fostering critical dialogue, and building sustainable arts enterprises. By supporting ACC, you invest in Black creativity, cultural preservation, and social justice.
