About this Organization
This GiveNOLA Day, Abeona House is celebrating 18 years of curiosity and connection by raising money in support of three important causes:
*Supporting our newly expanded center that provides childcare to 120 students
*Continuing health care coverage for staff; and
*Offering scholarships to make the school more accessible to in-need students.
Abeona House is a non-profit childcare center founded in 2006 and inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. By serving more students, especially students from diverse economic backgrounds, and ensuring that our staff have the resources and supports to thrive both personally and professionally, we can fulfill our mission of serving families in the Greater New Orleans area with joy, equity, and love.
