A CHILD'S WISH OF LOUISIANA, INC.

"A Child's Wish" is a Louisiana based non-profit organization fulfilling the dreams of Louisiana children who must make plans one day at a time. Through the efforts of our volunteers, and with the support of our generous donors and partners, we have helped hundreds of critically-ill children experience the joy of having one of their wishes granted.

Our staff is comprised entirely of volunteers, which makes it possible that every dollar we receive is utilized directly for our children. These volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization and donate precious time, talent and energy to making wishes come true for critically-ill children.

We rely exclusively on the generosity of private donations and funding to grant wishes. We also have various sponsorship levels to meet any level of desired monetary gift.

Our greatest ally is the universal love we share for children. Our most uncompromising enemy is time.

We do wishes of all types for Louisiana children.  Our families have gone to many different places, including Disney World and other parks. If a wish child's health limits travel ability, we have taken them shopping at a local mall, hosted a princess themed party in the hospital or  installed playground equipment in the family's backyard! Our goal is to create memories for the family and our volunteers are committed to making sure that goal is met. Your contribution assures that our efforts will continue.
