'WEEN DREAM is an all-volunteer, Jefferson, LA based national nonprofit that gives costumes to kids, or 'WEENSTERS, from all over America who are faced with unique challenges, including those with special needs, physical or mental disabilities, homelessness, living in poverty/foster care, and kids who have experienced a recent trauma/natural disaster. Halloween is not just about trick-or-treating and candy. It's about being a kid as a kid should be - full of imagination, possibility, and big dreams.

At Ween Dream, we believe it’s not just a costume.
For a child, a costume is confidence. It is imagination. It is freedom to be a superhero, a princess, a scientist — anything they dream of becoming. For many children, especially those facing illness, disability, or financial hardship, Halloween is more than a holiday; it’s a rare moment where they get to simply be a kid.

Based in Jefferson, Louisiana, Ween Dream was founded on the belief that every child deserves the chance to imagine, create, and belong. Each year, we collect and distribute new and gently loved costumes to children across the United States. Last season alone, we shipped nearly 1,500 costumes — over 22,000 since 2014 — to families, hospitals, schools, shelters, and community organizations in need.

Many children we serve are immune‑compromised and require brand‑new costumes. Others use wheelchairs or walkers and need adaptable costumes so they can fully participate alongside their friends. Some come from families who must prioritize essentials, placing a costume out of reach.

To us, a costume is never “just an extra.”
 It is the moment a child looks in the mirror and sees possibility.
 It is siblings laughing together.
 It is the confidence to knock on a door and shout, “Trick or Treat!” like every other child.

Your support makes these moments possible.

• $35 buys a brand‑new costume and ships up to 50 costumes to an organization in need.
• Annual partnerships are available for $500, helping us cover shipping costs and expand our reach to the growing number of children requesting help.
