Upgrade Louisiana empowers the next generation of New Orleans artist by connecting youth with industry professionals, cultivating creative skills, and building local talent pipeline. Through mentorship and hands-on training, we prepare young creators to thrive in music, audio arts, and immersive media locally and globally. Upgrade Louisiana is dedicated to strengthening New Orleans, creative economy by bridging, emerging artist with seasonal industry leaders. With over 50 years of a combined professional experience, our team provides mentorship, training, and career pathways that empower youth and emerging creative while preserving the city’s cultural legacy and driving economic growth. Upgrade Louisiana’s summer intensive is a comprehensive youth, music and creative arts program for one month serving students ages Tim to 17 years. The program addresses the urgent need for accessibility, high-quality arts education for at risk youth. Many students, lack safe, structured environments to explore, creativity, and traditional music school programs are often underfunded or in accessible. Upgrade Louisiana fills this gap through a hands-on, project based motto that teaches songwriting, music, production, song engineering, storytelling, and entertainment managing. While these are the priority lesson plans, the program also build essential life skills, such as collaboration, communication, leadership, and confidence.
