At Unwanted Feline Organization (UFO), we believe that every cat deserves a chance, no matter how small or "unwanted" they may seem. Our mission is built on providing immediate, life-saving intervention for Louisiana’s most vulnerable felines—specifically neonatal kittens and those with complex medical or special needs.

While we are proud of the lives we've touched, we know that many cats in underserved areas still lack access to basic care. That is about to change.

The "Cat Ambo" Project

This GiveNOLA Day, your support is fueling our most ambitious project to date: The conversion of a decommissioned ambulance into a mobile surgical and outreach unit. To get the "Cat Ambo" on the road, we need more than just the vehicle; we need the consumable medical supplies that make life-saving work possible on the move. Your donations this year will directly fund the surgical kits, vaccines, diagnostic tests, and sanitization supplies required to bring TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), vaccinations, and mobile adoptions directly to the neighborhoods that need them most.

• $50: Funds critical testing for infectious diseases.

• $100: Covers a life-saving spay/neuter surgery in our mobile unit.

• $250: Fully prepares a rescued cat for their forever home (includes microchipping and full medical workup).
