The Devon Walker Foundation

The Devon Walker Foundation was founded to create global awareness and education towards spinal cord injuries in order to help prevent the condition while also positively affecting the quality of life of individuals who have sustained spinal cord injuries through adaptive equipment and funding of advances in medical treatments towards a cure.

Our organization was founded by Devon Walker who was injured while playing collegiate football for Tulane University on September 8, 2012. The Devon Walker Foundation was founded in May of 2016 by Devon Walker and a group of associates to address the increasing prevalence of spinal cord injuries and the inadequacies in available medical treatment and equipment for individuals who have sustained spinal cord injuries. Our organization not only focuses on education towards preventive efforts and future medical research towards curing the condition but prides itself on positively affecting an increasing the quality of life of as many individuals as possible currently living with spinal cord injuries.
