The SOAR mission statement is to provide the individualized services, information, resources and support needed to positively enhance the independence, productivity and inclusion of individuals with autism to soar beyond limits.
In 2012 SOAR was created by five mothers of children with autism from across the Northshore. Since its creation, SOAR has provided many trainings and workshops not only for families but also for professionals. SOAR provides network support to anyone anywhere in need of information and resources. Our autism center provides behavioral therapy, social skills, employment readiness skills, and life skills. We currently have two locations, Northshore and Southshore. SOAR does not receive any federal, state or local grants. Your support will ensure that we can continue to provide programs for adults with autism, education advocacy and community events.

Mission
SOAR is dedicated to providing vital resources and support to families affected by autism throughout our multi-parish area. We support individuals with autism through applied behavior analysis (ABA), speech therapy, education advocacy, and life skills programs at our two locations. Beyond these services, SOAR is committed to fostering a strong community of support and awareness through a variety of initiatives, including community events, adult social outings, and workshops and training programs.
