The mission of the Southern University at New Orleans Alumni Association is to strengthen alumni participation, engagement, and support for the University through active involvement in campus initiatives, fundraising efforts, and community outreach. We are committed to advancing the welfare of the University by fostering a dynamic and mutually beneficial relationship between SUNO and its alumni. We proudly promote Blue and Gold Knights Pride, Tradition, and Loyalty, inspiring both current and former students to remain connected, invested, and united in the continued success of our institution.
The vision of the Southern University at New Orleans Alumni Association is to serve as a powerful bridge connecting the University with its global family of alumni. We strive to expand SUNO’s reach across the United States and abroad while championing the upward mobility of traditional and nontraditional students through access to high‑quality academic programs, mentorship, and lifelong support.
